Sean O'Donnell


Sean is a therapist who specialises in CBT therapy and is passionate about helping people overcome their anxiety problems. Sean has a particular interest in OCD and has helped many people achieve recovery. Sean is an experienced meditator and has worked alongside renowned Neuroscientist Dr. Joe Dispenza on his many workshops. In his spare time Sean is a keen musician and a family man.

Matthew Coleclough


Matt's passion for helping people overcome their anxiety issues is second to none and he has achieved great things in his life doing this. Matt has lead more than 400 talks on anxiety and was once part of the psychiatric training programme at Fairfield General Hospital in Bury. Matt also runs his own therapy practice specialising in the treatment of anxiety related disorders.  In his spare time Matt enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar and walking.

Donna Webb


Donna is a trained Hypnotherapist, Reiki master and Holistic Therapist and was the Regional Manager of the Samaritans for 10 years before joining BIG in mental Health. She is a passionate and experienced speaker who has a wealthy knowledge of all types of mental health disorders. Donna enjoys travelling and spending time with her family.

Frances Halligan


Frances is the Chair of BIG in Mental Health. She is an advocate for mental health service users and has been involved with mental health services across a broad field. Frances was once voted Bury Women of the Year and she was awarded the MBE award for her charitable work. Frances is a highly regarded speaker and admired by many - passion and dedication to helping people at this level is a rarity. Frances enjoys swimming and spending time with her dog 'Charlie'.

Marc Ewen


Marc is an experienced speaker who specialises in PTSD. He has a rich and varied professional history, originally practicing as a mental health social worker. In the last few years he has taught co-production, connecting communities and service user centrality in nursing degree programmes. Marc has been a research associate on several studies, including professional disclosures, effectiveness of IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies). His approach and method of communicating is what sets him aside from so many and why he is a key speaker for us.

Admin & Finance

Amy works in the legal profession and having lived with a partner who suffered crippling anxiety fully recognises the importance of our work. She is very passionate about the work we do and helps us with admin and finances.  Amy enjoys photography, travelling and cooking.
